What a wonderfully helpful post. It is so hard to find LEGITIMATE ways to earn a few extra dollars online without doing so 5 cents at a time.
I love the Demand Studios idea, since I enjoy posting articles anyway, but all of these are helpful.
Thanks!

Good article! I looked at the Demand Studios website and would definitely appreciate some tips for the application.

Great info Jonathan!
I am only familiar with textbroker but never tried them. Having such piece of information is particularly helpful to lead people in the right direction to avoid internet scams. - February 1, 2010 at 1:07 pm

This is good direction. My wife lost her job just before the holidays and is investigating various situations. The work at home “jobs” are mostly scams designed to get you to send them money. Even many of the regular jobs advertised fall into this category. They seem like legitimate wage jobs, but dig a little farther and it’s a work at home scam.
There must be big money in that right now with so many people out of work and desperate for anything.

@carole – their hiring comes in waves, but hiring writers is what they do on a regular basis. The best tip I can give is when you write a sample article make it between 400-500 words long and write it in a "How to" format. You should have an introduction that is about 50-75 words and then 5 steps with a paragraph each. Be as specific as possible when explaining your topic. You can write on even the simplest of ideas.
@kick debt off – There are actually many websites that hire writers and you do not have to be a professional writer. Some pay you up front and others pay revenue long term for either page views or adsense revenue.
@Kevin@Out of Your Rut – You also might want to have your wife look into a free forum that post credible positions. The forum is filled with at-home workers who weed out the scams from the real ones. The website is http://workplacelikehome.com I hope that helps!

Wow, great to see some legit websites out there. I’ll have to pass these on to friends & family that are looking for some side money.
I wouldn’t mind making $30/hr to write a few articles ;o)

Thank you for this post! I live in a small town and it’s not easy to come up with second jobs (or primary jobs for that matter) around here. I’ve been looking for a way to make some extra money. I’ll be sure to check these out.

@MD – You are welcome. I actually covered 21 work at home programs on one of my blogs a few weeks back. You can view the whole list of work at home opportunities here: http://simplelifehabits.com/money-habits/21-simple-ideas-to-get-cash-fast-for-an-emergency-fund
Some are just simple ideas for getting cash quickly and others you can do for a longer period of time.

Thank you SO much for this article! I have been applying everywhere I can think of for minimum wage jobs and having no luck. As someone newly on the Dave Ramsey Total Money Makeover I really wanted to find a second job and these ideas are great! I’m a writer so it promises to be easy work for me. Thanks for the tips and for doing the research to weed out the good from the bad. I’m very excited

@Julie – You are more then welcome. I have a whole list of freelance sites that either pay up front or pay by revenue. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks!

Jonathan – I am VERY interested! I did go to the link you provided in an early comment, and I will investigate those. I assume those are the sites you’re refering to, but if there are others, please share!
Question: Demand Studion, in reference to Editor positions, states they require “five years of demonstrated editing or copyediting experience with a newspaper, magazine or book publisher”. How do you become a title editor, as I didn’t see anything like that? - February 2, 2010 at 10:25 am
-
Thank you so much for this post. This is just what I have been looking for, work from home opportunities from a trusted source. I recently signed up for FlexJobs to find a job I could do from home, but so far I have found the requirements in terms of experience or specific skills to be outside of my background.
I gained even more information by reading the comments of others. Thanks again. - February 2, 2010 at 11:05 am
-
@roger – you are welcome. My wife stays at home with our kids but she wanted to find work to do that was flexible. These are the sites we have found to be trustworthy.
@Julie – They do still hire title editors but not as often. It is fun work and you get paid .04 cent per title. Might not sound like a lot but some titles do not even need editing. You can realistically make $10-15 hour (sometimes more). I would just keep your eyes peeled and monitor the site. Also, If you get in on one job (like a writer) you have an option to apply to all the other positions if you want. Once a Title Editor does not log in for 30 days they are kicked out essentially so probably once they get depleted they will hire again.
If you want more paid for content sites as a freelancer, look into these as well:

Jonathan, I would like to start doing some tech writing. Most of my work history was in engineering, until I got laid off about 6 years ago. For the last 4 years I have been working at an elementary school as the tech support person. I taught some undergraduate business courses for a couple of years and my wife and I are currently teaching an ESL class for adults. I enjoy writing and have always have had positive feedback on my writing skills in college, But how do I transform all of this background into a resume for an online tech writing position? I can write some articles to put in a portfolio, but beyond that I have nothing to show. What is the acceptable format for a resume to apply for positons at these websites you recommend? Is it vastly different than the tradtional work history, education, skills resume?
- February 4, 2010 at 1:23 pm
-
@Normalyn – Awesome, great to have you.
@roger – I just used a traditional resume as far as the resume was concerned and honestly, there was no writing experience on the resume except for resume writing experience. I really think they put a lot of weight on the sample article you write. Which you should write a 5 step “how to” article. By the way, there are plenty of technical articles that you can write for Demand Studios. That being said, there are other sites out there that pay for your expertise too.

Hi Jonathan,
Thanks for sharing the list. My girlfriend has earned a very nice salary working with Demand Studios over the past year. Great company.
- February 5, 2010 at 2:32 pm

I’m frustrated … the sites offering work, it seems, are only willing to pay about $2.50 for 300 words. I am unable to research and then write 3+ 300-word articles per hour for barely minimum wage.
I had hoped Demand Studios would be better, but I just got an email thanking me for my submission but “At this time, we do not have any assignments for you that fit our needs.” Not sure if they are rejecting my writing or my experience, but there’s no promise to keep me in que or suggesting when, if at all, I might re-apply. - February 5, 2010 at 3:00 pm
-
@Julie – keep your chin up. They hire in spurts and you may just get an email soon asking you to join. I encourage you to look into http://workplacelikehome.com there is a whole thread dedicated to writing jobs online. In fact one sticky post list 50 freelance writer sites. You need to look into it.
- February 5, 2010 at 3:05 pm
-
Jonathan – thanks for the encouragement. I DID visit the web address you referenced but the forum notes were so cryptic as to be unable to decipher what sites they were referencing. There is a rule about writing any sites out in full (??) and I couldn’t figure out how to get in “the know” about the short-forms (KBG is one that comes to mind). I did post asking the reason for this policy and for a little help in translation but received no replies.
- February 5, 2010 at 3:11 pm
-
@julie – I hear you. Those are mostly phone jobs anyways. The reason they do it is because people talk about everything (good, bad, ugly) and they don’t want to lose their job if the name of the company is showing up in the search engines is my guess. Keep scrolling down and there is a writing gigs or writing jobs thread somewhere. Also, go to Indeed.com and type in Freelance Writer there are many companies looking to hire people who like to write.
- February 11, 2010 at 1:42 pm
-
Jonathan & Julie – I put an application in to Demand Studios as well and have not heard yet, but a friend of mine did also, and got the same message Julie did, “At this time, we do not have any assignments for you that fit our needs”. I’m no expert, but that friend has a solid writing history, so it may not be a matter of Julie’s qualifications.
Is it possible that given the state of the job market they’re swamped with applicants?
- February 11, 2010 at 4:02 pm
-
They hire in spurts so unfortunately you will have to be patient. What you received was not necessarily a rejection letter.
That being said there are plenty of companies that will pay you to write for them like DemandStudios. Here is a job board to watch:

Also, I consider this site a reputable source: **Disclaimer: I can not testify to the validity of all of these sites**

Hi, what is the application process for demand studios?
- April 7, 2010 at 1:04 am

Now this is a unique list! I have seen so many articles of this time and they usually list every possible moneymaker out there, and most of them are crap.
These are all clearly legitimate, with a clear pay schedule.
My only concern is that they are all “time for money” type positions, and there is a lot of time involved in some of them for only a bit of money.
I also find that the websites are not giving enough information about what is required or expected before asking to to sign up.

You mention at the end of your paragraph about Demand Studios that you will offer advice about how to apply. So I’m asking for help with that. I really really need extra income, my husband has lost his job (October 09), his unemployment is being “reviewed”, so that is no longer coming in. We are just steps ahead of losing our house to foreclosure. I am especially interested in the title editing since you said you made thousands with that along with article writing. ANY help is greatly appreciated!!!! Thank you!

I’m curious how many people who read this have any luck getting hired on with Demand Studios? I possess above-average writing skills and submitted an entry that was outright rejected without explanation or recourse. An applicant, I was advised, may not re-apply if rejected. As no explanation was provided I cannot know why I was summarily dismissed.

I recently applied to Demand Studios and was rejected saying that they were unable to offer me a writing assignment at this time as they’ve had an increase of freelancing positions and are having to turn away even highly qualified writers. It seems that others are getting or had the same thing happen. In Demand Studio’s FAQ’s page, it says that a person can apply for different positions at different times, but they don’t want you to apply more than once. I was in a forum where someone said they had applied 5 times before they were accepted as a freelance writer for Demand Studios. Maybe a person can reapply at a later date. With that in mind, it still seems hopeful.

I actually just got hired by Demand Studios a couple weeks ago, before I even found this post. I spend a lot more than 30 minutes on an article though. The actual writing portion doesn’t take more than 30 minutes, but researching the information takes at least an hour for me. They require you to have references for each article, and there is a long list of blacklisted sites that you cannnot use as references. I sometimes have a hard time finding suitable references, although I think part of it is that I may be trying too hard and passing over sites they would be OK with.
There is a huge list of topics available to write, usually well over 100,000. But my experience is limited and I can spend an hour or more just sifting through the lists trying to find a topic I can actually write on. It’s not a fast money maker for me at all, but it is enjoyable and I hope to get faster as I learn. I’m trying to find other sites to supplement this income, so I’m very relieved to find this list of reliably legitimate jobs!
Jonathan, can you tell me more about the Leapforce jobs? If you pass the qualification exams (which they say are difficult), how do you claim jobs? Do you have to bid on them like with Live Work? I’ve been poring over their website and FAQ pages but they are somewhat vague about some things. What exactly do we need to know for the qualification exams, and what would the actual work entail? I really liked how Live Work went into detail to let you see exactly what it would be like and I was hoping Leapforce had something similar.
Sorry for such a long comment!

Surfie,
There are other companies besides Leapforce that all basically do the same thing. Besides Leapforce, google Lionbridge, Butler Hill Group, and Workforce Logic. All four of these companies are hiring in the United States right now. In fact, I’ve applied to all four companies within the last two weeks and am getting ready to test for Leapforce next week. All you need to do to apply to these positions is make sure you have a resume ready to go. All I did with mine was to change the title of the position I was seeking on the resume and convert it to a PDF to upload to their Websites. If you apply to all four, then whoever hires you first gets you. You can only work for ONE of these companies at a time. From what I understand, depending on how busy they are, it could take a week to get back to you… or several months. Therefore, it’s in your best interest to apply to all of them. Should you get hired by anyone, you can also put your applications on hold with the other companies so that when your contract is up with whoever hires you, you can reapply to the other three companies to keep your revenue stream going. All pay pretty decently for the work that you do. I signed an NDA with Leapforce, so I can’t say how much you get paid, but google it and you will find out. I will say that Lionbridge and Butler Hill Group (and I do believe Workforce Logic as well) pays more, but you don’t get to work as many hours (I believe it’s something like up to 20/hours/week for those companies and up to 30/hours/week with Leapforce). However, if you apply to Lionbridge, be advised that they don’t hire in every state. I think it’s something like they only hire in about less than half of the states, although I don’t remember which ones. Since that application takes by far the longest (as in, you just can’t send a resume in– you have to type up your past positions, education, etc., so it’s a real pain).
I learned all of this information by googling. There are a number of forums that discuss these positions. Be forewarned, though, that people do sign NDA’s with the companies and cannot divulge much information, eg., pay rates, what they do, what they ask on the tests, etc.
Good luck!

Hello, I was very interested in the liveops, but unfortunately they are not hiring in cali as of this moment, so I went on to my second choice and I tried filling out the leapforce application and it keeps stating, “A system error has occurred. Please use your browser’s back button to return to the page you were viewing.” it has been doing this over the last 2 days probably a total of 10 times trying to submit my application. I am going to follow Jens advice and try a few others as well to see if they are hiring if not my third runner up would be the freelance writer. I read some of the things you, and others have stated about the freelance writer and it seems very interesting. I actually know some one that has done several articles, and loves it. I am just not quite sure if it is my cup of tea. Thanks for the wonderful tips and insight on working from home. I hope I land something soon. *fingers crossed*

One other quick question, I don’t recall reading any comments about LiveWork.com. Has any one done this? If so, how does it work? is there decent money to be made (and by decent, I mean I only need about 500-1000 extra a month to get by, although if more is involved I would not turn it down…LOL!!) Any suggestions from those who have worked for LiveWork.com would help…thank you!

I am a middle-aged woman working retail management in a position where the demands grow greater every day and time at home is less every hour. Holiday hour increases started a month early this year. Without going into personal detail I need a way to make enough money to stay at home with my disabled husband. Something has to change, but I don’t have a lot of time to invest in reading and researching all my options to get started. The situation is desperate. Can you help me by narrowing the search a bit and say a prayer?

This is a great article. I am interested in the Demand Studios site and you mentioned you do not have to be a professional writer, however, the website asks for professional writers.
I am currently a student seeking a degree in English and technical writing. I am pursuing a career as a print copy editor and I do not have any professional experience at the moment, but I am seeking experience.
With little experience and in my final year of school do you feel I could still apply for a copy editor position with Demand Studios and the other sites?

Thanks for the list of great information. I am always looking for more ways to make money online. Right I have only been working with online paid surveys. I managed to make about $300 so far and I think that is a decent amount of money. However, I want to add on to what I have been doing.
You have provided me with a good list opportunities that I am eager to try out. If anyone wants to read my reviews on paid surveys or see my payment proof feel free to check out my blog. Thanks again for the info!

Hey Jonathan,
Great article and thank you for not posting about the typical work at home scams that most biz opp junkies write about! I was anticipating the usual nonsense that I see everywhere else on the Internet when searching for work at home related information.
People should also consider reseller opportunities for various services as another viable and legitimate work at home job. You can resell services like SEO and web hosting and make a very good living without having to actually perform the services yourself or invest in expensive equipment or software.
Just out of curiosity what are your feelings on network marketing? Do you support it as a legitimate business model? Have you ever tried it?
Regards,

Hi Jonathon,
I’ve been reading your emails and articles for some time now and wanted to express my thanks for your good ideas! I’m ready to pursue some of the writing opportunities but I do have a question: As I read through the posts I noticed that they go back over a year. Do you feel that the information regarding the different venues was current? Or do were there any changes we should be aware of before plunging into this? Thanks again! - February 14, 2011 at 2:23 pm

workingsolutions.com is another legitimate. They have both phone and data entry jobs. The application/screening process is quick but they are very popular and you can be on a waitlist for months. They are picky about their projects and the people completing the projects. I was on a 6 month data entry project last year and they paid for all training, conference calls and quality assessments during the process.
I’ve also heard about elance.com and chacha.com. I made it through the online training for chacha.com then discovered the pay is horrible – two cents per task completed. Even if I am running at superhero speed, the most I could make per hour was low compared to the amount of time and tasks involved. elance is for professionals who have skills and can offer their skills for projects – such as creating a document template, website, etc. The pay seems to be very good for the tasks. Some of the projects require short term commitment and pay hundreds of dollars.

I worked with Lepaforce for 1 1/2 years and now work for Lionbridge. I was wondering if anyone has ever worked for “Butler Hill” or been hired for the ads quality rater job from google but through workforcelogic. My position at Lionbridge is a new one (as far as I can tell) and I don’t feel very secure because the project does not seem to be doing as well as my superiors were hoping. Any info for “butler hill” or “googles ad rater” would be nice. I plan on applying at “demand studios” this weekend, that one looks like good pay!!!

Thanks so much for the work at home opportunities. I lost my job 20 months ago, which has NEVER happened in my 25 years of working, because I became wheelchair bound. Although I AM able to work, it’s pretty hard to get a job in my field (non-profit, working with children & families) in this economy and especially when you are handicapped! It doesn’t help that I live in the county with the highest unemployment rate in NY, and it’s an historic town, which means many of our buildings aren’t handicap accessible, and with the snow and ice we’ve had this winter, getting in and out on my own is virtually impossible at times!
I am awaiting disability, but would rather NOT be “disabled” and truly we can’t afford it! Medical bills are outrageous, and having health care is almost worse than NOT having it because we can’t afford my monthly medications co-pays, much less our specialist and hospital co-pays! I’ve already applied for the Leapforce job, and attempted to apply for the Live Ops positions, but they AREN’T hiring in NEW YORK, for all of your NY readers. I already write for Squidoo, but haven’t made any money for my posts, yet, so I’m considering starting my own blog and registering with ad-sense. I believe I will apply for ALL of the other opportunities you have listed as well! Since I stay up all night while my kids & husband area sleeping, they all make perfect sense to me. PLEASE let me know via e-mail if you have a blog site that you recommend over others. I’ve taken several looks around, but can’t decide which is the best for me. Squidoo just fell into my lap because I liked their format and the opportunity to make money that they described, and perhaps it’s just a waiting game and I will find myself making some in a bit.
Again, thank you so much and God Bless!

I know I wrote a long post earlier, but I couldn’t find out how to contact you and I’d like some tips for applying for Demand Studios.
Again, thanks so much for your post & God Bless you for trying to help others! That’s something I’ve spent my life trying to do, but in a different way.

Great topic, I have endlessly searched for ways to bring in extra income. I like the structure at demand studios, sadly I’m just not a good enough writer for them…but I’ll live. In actuality I have found a way for me to make more money and am very happy about it, it’s not a lot but it does bring in around an extra $200 per week and these days, what more can we ask for.
Anyways again…great topic.Thanks,
April

Well I did’nt get accepted by Demand Studios but I may try again later with a different email address. April, what do you do for that extra $200 a week. I have little extra time but really need at least an extra $100 a week. Thinking about looking into elance, odesk and text broker.
Thanks - March 23, 2011 at 12:38 pm

Wonderful info…thanks so much…how do I prepare for the Leapforce testing? Also , as for the other sites, I love to write but don’t fully know what format/file to send in…ie: I need help/instuctions or a website referral to learn about using pdf, jpg, how to attach resume..etc. as this was something I never had much experience with and feel totally computer illiterate in this aspect. God Bless…..

I have heard that you can earn money by blogging, and did a google search to research some ways to do that. This website was the first one I clicked on. Wow! One article has led to another and I’m blown away at all the great info you have here! I lost my job a year ago, and still haven’t found a job. Things are tight, and I need to find something to make some extra money. These are great ideas and I’m looking forward to checking them out. Any advice is welcome!

Bob, I am interested in learning more about Demand Studios. My talents are in the research, communication and teaching areas – which seems to me to be a good fit. I see where I can apply on the Demand Media website, but any other info would be much appreciated.
Thank you,
Jim

This is a great work from home resource. Some other reputable companies that often hire telecommuters are HSN (Home Shopping Network), Dell, Hilton Hotels, Uhaul, and Jet Blue Airways.

Hello Jonathan:
I have spent over 11 years dedicated to pursuing a career in software developmet; however, since graduating from college in 2008, I have not seen any real prospect of achieving my goals in this field. I don’t need a $60,000 hobby!
Many people, including previous instructors, have indicated that I have natural writing ability; therefore, I am considering freelance writing as a possible course of action. Can you help my learn how to break into this field?
Thanks in advance, Dan

Hey Jon! I just wanted you to know that you have helped me so much! I’ve been praying for something I can do from home just until my daughter goes to school in a year. Her twin passed away a year ago and she is still very clingy to me and we are both sad and just want to continue to spend time together until her schooling begins. Thank you so much for this article! I hope to eventually help others as you have helped me! Thanks again and take care!!

I believe freelancing is a good way to increase your extra income. I recommend Elance: nice projects, a lot of them very well paid. My relationship with Odesk wasn’t the best because i find it difficult to find well paid projects. A lot of indians are bidding very low rates: 1/2$ per hour and a lot of times they are preferred due to low rates.

Yes, but for me, it depends on the client that you can get. You have the choice to choose the jobs that are good paying. I am more comfortable working at Odesk than Elance…

I live in Australia and I love to know if there are any reputable programs that are similar to these available for Australian residents. I looked through a few of the sites and they’re for US, UK and Canada residents only! Thanks.

Hi Jonathan,
Thanks for such an informative and clear article. Your answers to the posts are encouraging too.
I’m grateful that I’ve found this site tonight. My daughter and I have entered a new and unplanned phase in our lives and while I have a very supportive family and a great high school teaching job, it would be fabulous if I could spend more time with my little girl. I want my life to show her Jesus’ love for us, and being stressed about income is not part of that.
I love writing and had to put my postgrad studies on hold, so I was excited about the opportunities you mentioned. However, the positions require me to be a US citizen and I live in New Zealand.
Would you know of anything similar open to me?
I realise there are a few differences in our writing styles (eg we have all the colours, not colors, of the rainbow) but I can adapt my writing for that.
Is there a site which accepts articles from people outside of the US?
I appreciate your help, your wisdom which you’ve shown in this article, and your heart for people.
Bless you!

Hi, I am looking for a home base job / business which do not require writing
skills. Do you have any suggestions? Thanking you in advance for any help
given. May God continue to bless you and yours. - August 30, 2011 at 5:22 pm

Oh yes we’re live in tough times and a tough economy
but with God all things possible.
But sometimes i wonder if people really work at home and get pay
like they mentioned.

I am looking for a home based business opportunity start up packages that really works. I don’t want to work for a company, but rather myself. Can you recommend any legitimate start up packages that aren’t scams? Thanks!

Jonathan, Do I need anything to qualify for the job at Demand Studios? Im in between looking for jobs and am not qualified in English or any degree relating to it. Am I hopeless?

Tim,
As a writer and title editor at Demand Studios, I can tell you right now that Demand is not the way to go at this point in time. They have virtually no assignments for 85 percent of their writers at this point. Just Google Demand Studios and you will see what I mean. Skip the “content farms” all together, as the work is rapidly dwindling. Go for the telephone work if you have a landline.

Thank you Jonathan,
Since this article was written in February 2010, I was wondering if you have discovered any “new sources” for work at home jobs.
It appears many of us would be appreciate more on this matter.Thank you again.

I am a middle age woman who husband of 25 years has walked out to become involve with someone much younger. For many years I didn’t have to work but now I am completely destitute. I am desperate to make money to support myself and my young adult disabled daughter. I am college educated and computer literate but can’t find a job even in a fast food restaurant. I found this site by mistake because on just today I read an article while waiting in the doctor’s office about businesses that you can start at home. The article was interesting but I don’t have even the small amount of money need to get started. I never thought about working from home until today. If I can find a website and get a job that doesn’t care about my age that would be wonderful.

Nice list there. Gave me some additional ideas I will be posting on my website. Currently found many interesting websites where you can do different jobs from home (obv legit stuff – that’s why I am doing a research, to be able to advise others how they can too and also to earn some extra money myself with the websites offering good legit jobs). Most likely I will be updating my website with that topic step by step until the new year as I want to provide as much valuable info as possible. You will be able to find it under the Jobs Online tab.

I’m 19 years old. I attend college and I’m looking for part-time work to get myself out of debt and to graduate debt-free too. I’ve applied to Leapforce twice now and I keep getting declined. But they always allow me to take the test again which is weird. They give you some guidelines to study, but it’s a 157 pages long, so I failed, because I only studied like half of it. I hope they send me the test again so I can try one more time.

I have been reading your article and have used several of the sites you have mentioned. Just a word about live-ops. My sister worked for them for several years. They do the 800 numbers sales but also take orders for several national food delivery places. Liveops is fanatical about the scripts you are given to read. Very little ad-libbing is allowed or tolerated even if you know the products or food you are selling better than the person who wrote the script. The scripts must be read verbatim. If you are a person who can do this, apply and make your money.

I applied to live-ops over a month ago and have heard nothing from them. How long does it take for them to review the application and the voice qualification? Also, what is your experience with other sites?

It took a bout 6 months to go thru the whole thing. She had to take the voice test twice. Just a couple of hints, if you don’t have a landline(telephone) you won’t get hired. Digital and wireless telephones are not secure enough. Setup your work area now. You need to be away from distractions. Also go ahead and buy a good headset for your phone. Learn how to use it before you get the job. The heaset doesn’t have to be the most expensive, mine cost around $25 and my sister got hers on ebay for $12. Also save all receipts for taxes. If you rent, have your rent receipts available or your mortgauge, also your electric, your phone and your internet. These can be deducted from your taxes. Another source you can try is West-at-home. They also have work at home opportunities. Hope this helped.

If you’re not in the USA or you don’t have writing skills (or even if you do), you can check out clickworker.com. They have lots of tasks. If you can work fast, it’s decent money, and they pay by PayPal.
If you are like many, the thought of starting a home-based business has probably crossed your mind at some point. With the economy being what it is, layoffs all around us, and an increasing desire for many to escape the rat race and work from home, many are trying to start a home-based business. Working from home not only offers independence and freedom but there are also some great home-based business tax deductions as well. Video Intro As I sit and write this, I am reminded of the years I spent in jobs that I didn’t like and am now so thankful that I get to work from home and do something I love. If you are longing for that situation, I encourage you to work to figure out what it is that you would love doing and keep at it until you reach that goal. For my business (blogging here at Christian PF) it took a long time before I started making any money blogging , let alone enough to pay the bills each month. I didn’t really know anything ...
